SHELTER FOR FREEDOM (PATH OF THE JAGUAR)
The ancient animal of the Jaguar led the audience through a symbolic journey from facing their fears to freedom. I developed the performance for three aircraft bunkers left after World War II in Budapest. The first bunker was dedicated to fear, so participants draw their fears with coal and destroyed them. The second bunker reminded a labyrinth where the audience was searching for an image of their pain to be able to see it. And the last bunker was a shelter for freedom. Performance manifested in the collective weaving of camouflage net accompanied by the drumming of the Jaguar.
